Steve Kerr Sends Message To Jordan Poole About Coming Off The Bench: “If Steph Curry Can Come Off The Bench, Anyone Can Come Off The Bench.”

One of the biggest stories for the Golden State Warriors this season has been the emergence of Jordan Poole. The Warriors' pick from the 2019 Draft has made enormous strides this season and has established himself as an extremely reliable option for Steve Kerr. Poole started the entirety of the Warriors' series against the Denver Nuggets, while Stephen Curry came off the bench.

But Jordan Poole has now gone back to coming off the bench, something Steve Kerr believes that every player on his team should accept. Steve Kerr addressed him bringing Stephen Curry back into the starting lineup in place of Jordan Poole. Kerr noted that if a superstar like Stephen Curry can accept coming off the bench, then every player on his team, including Poole, should be okay with doing the same.

Curry spoke about coming off the bench during the series against Denver, noting that he found it more important to be part of the Warriors' closing lineup. But when asked at the end of the series about his role as the proverbial 6th man for the Warriors, Curry noted that while he enjoyed coming off the bench and helping his team get past the first round, he did not want to continue coming off the bench anymore.

Jordan Poole has not shared his sentiments about coming off the bench once again.

But one has to imagine that if he's not saying anything it is either because he is okay with it, or he doesn't want to cause friction or turmoil within the team while they are still continuing their crucial playoff run. We will have an idea of Poole's feelings on the matter once the season is over and he has to decide whether he signs an extension with the Warriors.
