WATCH: Underwear-clad fan runs on court, dances, gets viciously tackled by security during Kings-Rockets game

  In recent months, the NBA has seen a rash of inappropriate fan behavior. Most of it has involved disrespecting players by either words or actions, leading prominent figures like Los Angeles Lakers guard Russell Westbrook to appeal to fans' humanity. Occasionally, however, members of the audience choose to do something a little less offensive, but just as idiotic. During the Houston Rockets' 122-117 home loss to the Sacramento Kings on Friday night, a fan ran onto the court wearing what appeared to be American flag-themed underwear or a Speedo-type bathing suit. He stopped at halfcourt to commence what can best be described as his own interpretive dance until security quickly descended, and viciously tackled the offender to the Toyota Center floor. Kings' Domantas Sabonis suspended one game for making aggressive contact with an official

  The Sacramento Kings thought that landing Domantas Sabonis would push them into the play-in round of the postseason. Instead, they've remained on the outside looking in. They are just 4-7 with Sabonis on the roster and are four games behind the No. 10 seeded New Orleans Pelicans. Their frustrations came to a head on Monday in a disappointing loss to the New York Knicks. Sacramento led New York by 20 points in the first half, but blew that lead in the second and fell down by as many as 23 points themselves. Late in the fourth quarter with the outcome long since decided, Sabonis was unhappy with a foul called by an official and got ejected for making contact with him. Now, he has been suspended for a game due to that contact. Sabonis will serve his suspension on Wednesday, when the Kings face off against the Denver Nuggets.   If there is something that will never end it is the comparison between players from different eras. Even in that niche, most comparisons revolve around the legendary players from the Chicago Bulls. Zion Williamson posts Instagram video of monster between-the-legs dunk while recovering from foot injury

  Zion Williamson's status has been one of the great mysteries of the 2021-22 season. When he was initially diagnosed with a fractured foot, he was expected to be available in time for the beginning of the season. And then he wasn't. The New Orleans Pelicans offered only vague and inconsistent updates. Williamson himself never spoke. And now, with the season coming to an end, it appears as though Williamson won't be returning to the floor at all. After missing most of his rookie year, his third season is on track to come and go without a minute of game time as well.  Where that leaves Williamson moving forward, we can't say, but for the first time in months, the Pelicans forward gave fans a morsel of optimism.
