DeMar DeRozan chose Bulls with Clippers en route to meet, wouldn't have returned to Raptors without Kyle Lowry

  DeMar DeRozan recently sat down with his former teammate Serge Ibaka to eat chicken hearts. It was DeRozan's second appearance on Ibaka's cooking show, "How Hungry Are You?" Before the chicken hearts were on the table, the two of them discussed the day that DeRozan decided to join the Chicago Bulls last summer. It began with Ibaka saying that he'd heard his Los Angeles Clippers had a contingent headed to DeRozan's house when they found out the Bulls deal was done. "What happened, bro?" Ibaka said. "Wait, wait, before you answer the question, you were the one, the last two years, you be saying, 'I wanna come back home to play.'" DeRozan smiled and said, "Yeah. Chicago Bulls' DeMar DeRozan stays hot, eclipses Wilt Chamberlain's record scoring streak

  CHICAGO -- Chicago Bulls All-Star forward DeMar DeRozan stayed on a roll offensively heading into the All-Star break and set an NBA record in Wednesday's 125-118 victory over the Sacramento Kings. DeRozan scored 38 points on 16-for-27 (59%) shooting Wednesday, making him the first player in NBA history to score 35 points while shooting better than 50% from the field in seven consecutive games. DeRozan surpassed a mark set by Wilt Chamberlain, who put together two such streaks of six games in a row, the last of which came in 1963. "Just to be in the record books along with staples of basketball history -- [I'm] speechless," DeRozan said following Wednesday's game. Zion Williamson posts Instagram video of monster between-the-legs dunk while recovering from foot injury

  Zion Williamson's status has been one of the great mysteries of the 2021-22 season. When he was initially diagnosed with a fractured foot, he was expected to be available in time for the beginning of the season. And then he wasn't. The New Orleans Pelicans offered only vague and inconsistent updates. Williamson himself never spoke. And now, with the season coming to an end, it appears as though Williamson won't be returning to the floor at all. After missing most of his rookie year, his third season is on track to come and go without a minute of game time as well.  Where that leaves Williamson moving forward, we can't say, but for the first time in months, the Pelicans forward gave fans a morsel of optimism.   If there is something that will never end it is the comparison between players from different eras. Even in that niche, most comparisons revolve around the legendary players from the Chicago Bulls.
