The Knicks shocking new plan for Kemba Walker, revealed


 

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the New York Knicks and guard Kemba Walker have agreed that the four-time All-Star will be sidelined for the remainder of the team’s season.


It’s definitely an interesting decision from the Knicks’ perspective that they’re not going to buy him out and allow him to go play for another team.


What’s more bizarre from the Knicks’ standpoint is that they didn’t deal him before the NBA trade deadline. They should have known about this for the last several weeks and made a trade for Kemba if their intention was to not play him for the rest of the season. Not only would it have made him happier in his career, but the Knicks might’ve gotten something in return instead of forcing him to sit on the bench for the rest of the season.


The Knicks have made another move that just doesn’t make sense, and now, Kemba Walker will have to sit out the rest of the season, unable to play the game he loves.


This year, he was averaging 11.6 points per game and 25.6 minutes per night for this Knicks team. Coach Tom Thibodeau didn’t like what he was doing on the defensive side of the ball, so he didn’t play as much as he should have.


The 25-34 New York Knicks will take on Miami Heat on Friday in their first game since the All-Star break.
