Karl-Anthony Towns reacts to Zach LaVine, Andrew Wiggins becoming All-Stars on different teams

With the NBA All-Star Game approaching, a discussion has erupted over the Minnesota Timberwolves’ performance in the past. The Timberwolves are the subject of this dispute since they have three players who were once members of the team and are now all-stars.

Karl Anthony-Towns is the only one of the three who is still on the roster, with Zach LaVine and Andrew Wiggins playing for the Chicago Bulls and the Golden State Warriors, respectively.

Towns, the Timberwolves’ standout big man, took to Twitter to express his feelings on what may have been if the team had stayed together.

If all three of these guys were on the same team right now, they’d have an excellent chance of winning an NBA championship. LaVine has been fantastic, Towns is still doing his thing for the Timberwolves, and Andrew Wiggins has developed into a star in his own right. While they were in Minnesota, they didn’t play great, but there was clearly a bright future for all three.

Two of those guys were let go by the Timberwolves’ front office, which wasn’t ideal. They’re currently under new ownership, so hopefully they will not repeat a similar error in the near future.

The Timberwolves’ front office won’t be able to change this, so they’ll simply have to keep playing their best basketball with what they have. Fortunately for Minnesota, Towns, Anthony Edwards, and D’Angelo Russell are still around.
